Formation of the ad hoc “Mediation Working Group”
Subsequent to the Mediation Forum held on 22 April 2010, the Institute is pleased to announce that an ad hoc “Mediation Working Group” has been formed by seven enthusiastic HKICM members with most of them are qualified accredited Mediators.
Mr. Kenny Wong is appointed as the Chairman and Mr. Denny Yiu the Vice Chairman.

Since formation, the working group has immediately assisted in drafting the response to the Government consultation paper “Report of the Working Group on Mediation”. The response was submitted to the Government for consideration on 8 May 2010.
The working group is also tasked to establish a HKICM accredited Mediator list by end of August 2010. In the long run, the Institute aims to develop a well structured Mediation Services Scheme providing mediation services to HKICM members in addition to strive for being one of the leading mediation service providers in construction mediation.
