[Postponed Until Further Notice]

"Experience Sharing for Defending Departmental Summons
(Safety & Environmental)

Organized by
Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers

Mr. Harrison CHEUNG

16 April 2020 (Thursday)

7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

HKICM Conference Room
(Rooms 801-2, 8/F., On Lok Yuen Building,
25 Des Voeux Road Central, Hong Kong)

The speaker will share his experience in defending prosecutions concerning safety and environmental summons by Labor Dept./EPD/FEHD.

Conviction records in relation to safety and health may severely damage the reputation of a construction company and adversely affect the opportunity of winning a tender. The penalty for such convictions is also getting heavier and heavier under the criticism from the public that past penalty is seriously out of proportion. Cumulative conviction records attract heavy penalty too.

The speaker will share some of his real-life cases and advise the steps a contractor shall take whenever a summons is received.

The registration fee:

Member : HK$150.00
Non-member : HK$180.00
